
AKOLISA UFODIKE BIO.
Dr Ufodike graduated with a PHD in accounting from the University of Calgary PHD and is a Queens and Cornell University MBA graduate. He has over 20 years of Industry experience, with organizations such as Bell Canada & Molson and was recognized as a fellow of the accounting profession (FCGA, FCPA) in 2014. Dr. Ufodike is actively involved in planning and delivering on your projects and this accessibility and face-to-face time at the most senior level gives you direct access to professionals most familiar with your industry.
Dr. Ufodike is managing partner at UPC. He is also an Assistant professor in Auditing and Information Systems (data analytics) at York University. A University of Calgary PHD and Cornell MBA graduate, he is a senior finance professional whose professional career spans Investment Banking, Information Technology, Utilities, Consumer Packaged Goods and Telecoms. He managed the financial reporting function in various organizations and was the founding VP / CFO of Jaguar Wireless a participant in the 2008 Canadian wireless spectrum auction as well as the CFO/ COO for Corridor Communications one of the largest Wireless Internet Service Providers in Canada.
Ufodike previously served on the board of directors of US publicly quoted company with mining properties in East Africa. He was Chair of the audit committee of the Loyalty Group a TSX listed company and has been treasurer and chair of the audit comitte of several Charities including Scouts and Peel Literacy Guild. He currently sits on the provincial audit committee for the province of Alberta.
Akolisa Ufodike is a FCGA, FCPA and US CPA. He is also a certified Chartered Accountant (FACCA UK) a certified fraud examiner (CFE). He is also a certified director (ICD.D).
He is active in the community and has served on various boards including the Board of directors of Skills for Employment Life and Family (SELF (formerly the Peel Literacy Guild) and the Chinook Council of Scouts Canada as treasurer and thereafter as Chairman,.
